Pharmashelve exhibit proves huge hit

Crusader, the specialist retail display design company based in Manchester recently exhibited for the first time at the Hospital Pharmacist exhibition in London generating huge interest for the company’s specialist pharmacy shelving product Pharmashelve.

Pharmashelve has proved so successful since its launch in 2005 that Crusader has further expanded its marketing activity to include leading exhibitions in the UK targeting the brands core customer base of both independents and leading chains of pharmacists and the larger users such as hospital pharmacists.

The Hospital Pharmacist 10th conference and exhibition was held on Thursday 1st February at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain at Lambeth High Street in London and Crusader were one of the major exhibitors at the prestigious event promoting the Pharmashelve product.

The Hospital Pharmacist conference and exhibition was designed for all sectors of the profession. Speakers discussed progress and challenges in medicines management, focussing on areas in which NHS trusts need to improve, as highlighted by the Healthcare Commissions recent management review.

Pharmashelve is the latest pharmacy shelving and storage solution developed by UK based Crusader specifically for pharmacists who are faced with the problem of limited storage and display space within a retail pharmacy and the sheer number of products that have to be stored and quickly retrieved in a hospital pharmacy. Pharmashelve ultimately frees up space within a pharmacy and has many unique storage and display features that can only be found on the Pharmashelve product.

The event proved extremely beneficial for Crusader with many of the exhibition visitors expressing a keen interest in the design features with a number of potential customers registering details with a view to installing the system in the near future.

Steve Turner, Director said “This was the first trade exhibition we have taken Pharmashelve to and we couldn’t believe the overwhelming interest in the product from all areas of the pharmacy profession. Our sales to date have mainly come as a result of the pharmashelve website and direct sales, but this response to the product at a trade show has given us a whole new angle on bringing the product to a larger market. Based on this success we have already identified a number of other trade exhibitions we will be attending later in the year”
