Caldbeck Surgery delighted with Pharmashelve

Pharmashelve, the leading designer and manufacturer of specialist dispensary storage and shelving equipment for pharmacists and health care professionals recently completed a dispensary refit in a picturesque village in Cumbria after providing a professional pre-project site survey and design service.

Caldbeck Surgery are delighted with their new dispensary shelving system after receiving the new range of Pharmashelve products following the design, planning , refit and upgrade of the practice dispensary.

After undertaking a free site survey at Caldbeck Surgery, which is situated in the picturesque village of Caldbeck, near Wigton in the Lake District National Park, Pharmashelve supplied detailed plans and quotations based around providing the perfect dispensary solution for the practice, all supported by a CGI image of the proposed solution created by the in-house deign team at Pharmashelve. Following a few simple modifications to the design concepts, Pharmashelve received the contract and swiftly delivered the range of units for installation.

Caldbeck Surgery is situated in purpose built premises in the centre of the village and has 4,800 patents spread over an area of 700 sq. miles and is successfully run by a team of four GP Partners, three practice nurses, a healthcare assistant and four administrative and support staff.

Practice manager Deborah Harman, who was initially tasked with sourcing the best value shelving system possible for the practice said “The Pharmashelve system works extremely well and the staff that use it daily are very pleased with it”

Pharmashelve was originally launched in 2005 to offer space saving solutions to independent pharmacies that needed extra retail space and room to offer consultations to clients.

Since 2005, the number of pharmacies, hospitals, heath centres and even prisons installing Pharmashelve has expanded at a phenomenal rate and with it, so has the number of additional products such as multiple bays, preparation tables, monitors, lockable cabinets, work tops, under shelf storage and back to back island units.

Originally only available in the UK, Pharmashelve is now marketed worldwide with sales and distribution channels available across Europe, India, America and the Far East.
