Pharmashelve planning product launches at The Pharmacy Show 2009

Pharmashelve, the leading designer and manufacturer of specialist dispensary storage and shelving equipment for pharmacists and health care professionals, is planning to unveil a selection of new and improved Pharmashelve products and services at The Pharmacy Show 2009 which is held during October each year.

Pharmashelve exhibited for the first time at The Pharmacy Show in 2007 and followed this by a further successful exhibition in 2008 at which the company launched a selection of new products including back to back units and half bays.

This year The Pharmacy Show is taking place on the 11th and 12th of October, again in Birmingham and this year Pharmashelve is planning to launch in more detail the company’s range of bespoke workstations and lockable cabinets as well as focusing on a range of new services offered including free site surveys and a free deign service developed to help customers view 3D-visualisation of the pharmacy and dispensary prior to the installation of the Pharmashelve equipment.

As in previous years, equipment will be on the stand so customers can see for themselves the features and benefits of Pharmashelve, plus, a number of directors of the company will be on hand including the design and technical director to showcase the company’s design and visualising capabilities.

The pharmacy Show is the leading exhibition of its kind in the UK attended by Pharmacists representing 80% of the UK pharmacy market, with a combined buying power of £12 Billion!

The number of delegates in 2007 was reported to be over 4,000. Based on the growth experienced in 2007; the show organisers have indicated that the number of visitors grew a further 50% in 2008 when the show took place on the 12th and 13th of October at the NEC in Birmingham.

This year we are focusing equally on our product range but also the added benefits of our free support services such as site surveys and 3D-Visualisation which should hopefully enable more architects, specifiers, hospitals and NHS Trusts become used to working with our products and be confident about the results even before installation.

Since the show in 2007, Pharmashelve has further expanded the total range of products from the initial single bay solution launched back in 2005 to a full portfolio of products and accessories now numbering over 40. With the launch of the new items at The Pharmacy Show 2009, it is expected that the total number of Pharmashelve branded products will be around 50 by the end of the year.

Pharmashelve was originally launched in 2005 to offer space saving solutions to independent pharmacies that needed extra retail space and room to offer consultations to clients.

Since 2005, the number of pharmacies, hospitals, heath centres and even prisons installing Pharmashelve has expanded at a pronominal rate and with it, so has the number of additional products and components such as multiple Bays, preparation tables, monitors, lockable cabinets, work tops, under shelf storage and back to back island units.

Originally only available in the UK, Pharmashelve is now marketed worldwide with sales and distribution channels available across Europe, India, America and the Far East.

Pharmashelve is the latest pharmacy shelving and storage solution developed specifically for pharmacists and health care professionals who are faced with the problem of limited storage and display space within a retail pharmacy or hospital dispensary.
