Reliance Wellness, India Case Study
Pharmashelve has been launched at a prestigious pharmacy in India. Reliance Wellness, part of the Reliance Industries Group has opened a 2,000 square foot store in Mumbai showcasing the Pharmashelve brand and is the first of 3 pilot stores to use the highly acclaimed Pharmashelve range of products.
The initial pilot scheme will be testing the suitability of 45 Pharmashelve bays across the 3 stores before the units are installed in 1,200 stores in India over the next 2 years.
Reliance Industries is India's largest company by market value and currently has a turnover in excess of 27 million US Dollars.
The group has many business interests globally including a range of specialist retail businesses covering a number of main street sectors.
Richard Kay, Director said "India is currently the largest single market we have taken Pharmashelve too. Whilst the initial pilot scheme is for a relatively small number of 45 bays, the total contract available over the next 2 years will be huge and could total as many as 15,000 units or more. On the back of the standard bays, there is also an opportunity to have further products in the Pharmashelve range specified." Steve continues "This is all excellent news for all involved at Pharmashelve and the additional revenues generated will assist in accelerating the launch of the full range of products to currently untapped markets".
