Pharmashelve delight for Ricky's
Pharmashelve has just completed a dispensary design and refurbishment utilising Pharmashelve’s range of dispensary pharmacy shelving units for Ricky’s Pharmacy Ewell in Surrey.
The owners of Ricky’s Pharmacy, Mr and Mrs Patel, originally contacted Pharmashelve at The Pharmacy Show 2009 which is held during October each year at the NEC in Birmingham. This was the 3rd consecutive year that Pharmashelve has exhibited at The Pharmacy Show, each time launching a new range of Pharmashelve branded products.
Mr and Mrs Patel were immediately impressed with the dispensary systems on display and instantly commissioned Pharmashelve to design their new dispensary which is an extension from the original store to the premises next door. The new layout design was undertaken to increase the dispensary capacity by 100% at the same time providing more working space for additional pharmacy staff, a task easily achieved thanks to Pharmashelve’s experience in space design, the retracting shelf system of the units, intelligent use of space and relatively small unit footprint.
The new layout and design combined a selection of stock bays SB1, SB5 and Work station bays SB4 with a finished scripts area SB10. After a couple of site visits Pharmashelve installed the bays over a weekend to reduce disruption to the existing store, and installed the new improved Pre Med Counter to allow the Pharmacist to complete tasks and yet remain a presence in the store.
Mr Mrs Patel are so delighted with their fit they have offered to be a constant reference site for Pharmashelve in the south London area and Pharmashelve have already used them for several new enquiries in the London and surrounding counties area.
